On November 3, 2006 the City of Phoenix named the Phoenix Police Departments Air Support Unit (located next to the Dear Valley Airport) the DON SCHULTZ AIR SUPPORT CENTER in honor of Don.  Don was a pilot assigned to the Air Support Unit for 10 years at the time of his death.
